ARTIST'S STATEMENT
With every season, nature shows us another side of its beauty. This piece has been created to help us reflect (yup, this pun is totally intended), on hope, hope that we can Preserve our planet’s wonder, its seasonal changes and eclipsing ecological beauty. The floral language is a positive message, traditionally welcomed throughout many eras and cultures. The gifts of blooms, plants and specific floral arrangements communicate positive unspoken feelings. When I started this piece I wanted to create something of beauty for myself but ultimately my end fruition turned into something I would love to share with you. 2020 has brought so much uncertainty and heartache but with it an acute awareness of social and environmental issues. Within this juncture over these past few months, we’ve witnessed real cause for reflection. And found reassurance that, together protecting and preserving nature and humanity is achievable if arranged and executed together.
